Drug Uses
Deltasone is used to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms in a variety of disorders, such as lupus, severe psoriasis, severe asthma, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. It can also be used for other conditions as prescribed by your physician.
How Taken
Take Deltasone as prescribed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Deltasone with a meal. Don't stop taking Deltasone suddenly if you have been taking it for a few weeks. You may need a gradual reduction in dosage.

Deltasone may cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Deltasone is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Deltasone with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Deltasone should be used only by the patient for whom it has been advised. Don't take less or more or take it more often than determined by your doctor.
